If you seek tranquility ..... The water there is crystal and warm, and if you feel like eating a fish on the beach and drinking an iced cold
beer, well, you won't have to walk too far!
Playa Uvita - Marina Ballena National Park ± 1 mile
Beautiful and well known beach with services, bars, restaurants etc... Walk on the Whale's tail and snorkel in its protected waters.
Enjoy a heart pumping jaunt on horseback with Cuca.
Playa La Colonia - ± 2.5 miles
Very few visitors - a few kilometers from Uvita & Bahia. Great for sunsets.
Playa Arco - ± 3.5 miles
If you're looking for a hidden paradise, you'll find one at Playa Arco. Located just beside Playa Ballena you can reach it only by walking a
short path, no access from the road. Monkeys, waterfalls, caves & soft sand will fill your soul with calm and peace. Ideal for lovers!
Playa Ballena - ± 2.5 miles
Right in the heart of the National Park, you can easily walk 15 km on its endless sand beach without seeing a single human being.
Playa Piñuela - ± 3miles Nice and calm bay. Most of the boats choose that bay to go out to the open sea. Also, you can meet fishermen
and buy all kinds of fish. ...swim too!
Playa Ventanas - ± 3.6 miles Small virgin beach surrounded by the jungle. On low tide, visit the splendid and mysterious caves...set up a
blanket under the coconut palms and......
