Meet Dr. Silvia Jimenez-Krause...
The Medi-Spa at Rancho Pacifico is under the direction of former Miss Costa Rica,
Silvia Jimenez-Krause M.D. She represented Costa Rica in the Miss Universe
Contest in 1976. Dr. Jimenez - Krause is an ENT surgeon, certified to practice in
Costa Rica for over 20 years. Her experience as a former Beauty Queen combined
with her years in cosmetic surgery have put her in touch with the special needs of
women and men seeking to improve their appearance through a number of avenues.
Contrary to her medical training, Dr. Jimenez personally believes in alternative
medicine and nutrition depending on nature's bounty to heal and preserve. Her
current practice is in anti-aging medicine in which she draws on her personal
philosophy to help clients create optimal health, inside-out.
Her training in the use of Botox and Cosmetic fillers is in the United States. Dr.
Jimenez-Krause along with her husband, former PBS personality Garrison Krause are
the owners of Rancho Pacifico. Dr. Jimenez-Krause also operates her skin
rejeuvenation/anti-aging clinic in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Dr. Jimenez is widely recognized throughout the Latin world for her long-standing
newspaper column "SoloMujeres" that reaches 19 countries.
Silvia has shared her time between Costa Rica and Colorado for the past 10 years.
